Together with composer TuxGuitar

TuxGuitar can match the elder Guitar Pro with the ability to compose an intuitive interface, providing a variety of musical instruments, mixer, supports many formats including Vietnamese and completely free.

TuxGuitar is open source software, has installed capacity of 7.35 MB, compatible with the Linux operating system, Windows, MacOS, FreeBSD. You can download free here .

TuxGuitar interface

Immediately after installation, you double-click the icon on the desktop TuxGuitar to launch the program. TuxGuitar interface is quite friendly, including areas: menu bar, toolbars, editing area, tracks regulatory frameworks and instruments, the Guitar Fretboard simulation framework.

You can change display options such as Show Mixer (mixer displays the dialog box), Show Player (music player displays the dialog box), Show Fretboard (show Fretboard), Show Piano (Piano keyboard display), Matrix Show (display dialog editing tracks in the matrix), the display mode of the staves in the View menu.

To create a new write music, go to File menu select New , then set up the necessary information for the menu music in Composition .

First, you should define the properties of staves, consisting of Time Signature (for rhythm tracks, the default rate is 4-4), Tempo (music speed) Clef (music key), Key Signature (Khuong music), Triplet Feel (tweezers affect cell 8 or 16).

Next, fill the information rights of the song with the feature properties , such as Name, Artist, Album, Author, Date, Copyright, Tab Creator, transcribed by, Comments. For notation, key and hash marks, click on the position on the staff then click keyboard or musical notes on the toolbar.

Also, you can add more tracks with features staves Add Measure in the menu Measure .

In the first tracks, you need to change the default settings by double clicking on Track 1 in the regulatory framework tracks. In the dialog box Properties , can change in three frame options General, Tuning, Instrument.

Framework General , you enter a name for tracks in Name, click Choose to select the color for the track regardless. Framework Instrument , musical instrument selected in the list, for example, Piano, Steel String Guitar, Fretless Bass, Violin, Whistle ... To add a new track, go into the Track menu select Add Track , the new track will be created within the framework of governance of track.

Additional properties (Properties)

A maximum amount of TuxGuitar is to support user-written lyrics accented Vietnamese directly staves. Beat you to the menu select Insert Text and enter into dialog content in Text Editor , click OK when finished importing.

Midi is a popular music format to use for communication between devices and computer music. TuxGuitar is able to import Midi format and converted into complete tracks on the program. When music is put into TuxGuitar Midi, it is relatively accurate description of rhythm, musical notes and songs used in it.

To do so, on the File menu select Import> select Midi Import , then browse to the folder containing the midi file, click Open.
